We think that L'oved Baby has made the perfect footie. The two-way zipper makes nighttime changes so easy, and there is a tiny zipper "pocket" at the top and bottom to keep the zipper contained. They added fold-over sleeves (up to size 6-9m) for extra warmth and to keep little one from scratching themselves while sleeping. The feet are dotted with rubber to avoid baby slipping while toddling or crawling, and the back of the ankles are elasticized to keep everything in place. 
The cherry on the top is that they are tagless, so there's nothing rubbing on baby's skin.
