Eangee Home Designs works with artisans in the Philippines to create beautiful, one of a kind, natural lamps that are made with a traditional Filipino style of lamp making.

The Durian Series is all about dimension and texture. The woven nito vine which makes up the outer diffuser is not only an attractive feature, but is strong enough to serve as a protective barrier for the inner diffuser.

The inner diffuser features banana fiber which is adhered using a non-toxic adhesive to a standard UL lamp backing. The outer diffuser features nito vine woven into a sturdy, wire mesh that is attached to a wrought iron powder-coated frame. The entire lamp is set on wooden finials.

Dimensions: 11 x 11 x 72 Inches (L x W x H)
Items are handmade and some variations may exist.

Number of Bulbs: 4
Eangee recommends light bulbs based on heat, not by light output.

We recommend using either compact florescent light (CFL) bulbs or LED bulbs. These will provide the same amount of light but use less wattage and produce less heat as compared to a standard incandescent bulb. The lower heat will help ensure the longivity of the lamp .

If you use an incandescent bulb, we suggest a maximum of 40 watts.

If cleaning is required for Eangee lamps, we recommend using a dry cloth or duster. We do not suggest liquid cleaners.
We do not recommend placing your lamp in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Bulb Access

1.Lay the lamp flat on the floor and unscrew the bottom three screws, which hold the light rod in place.

2. Once the screws are undone, slightly squeeze the bottom of the light rod and push it into the lampshade

3. Pull out the light rod through the top of the lamp. Add or change light bulbs. Reinsert the light rod and secure the screws.
